The Journey Motherhood

Filled with Joy, Grief, Gratitude, and Resilience. She Pushes On!

The journey of motherhood is filled with mixed emotions of joy and grief. With joy as new life comes, grief at all the changes she will experience and the uncertainties that lie ahead; with gratitude, the resilience journey of Mothering begins, and she pushes on!

Praying over her children as life changed rapidly, with the hope that the decisions she made for her life would also benefit her children's lives, she pushed on with gratitude and resilience!

Divorce, emotionally broken, fighting in every way to survive each day becomes a challenge. In survival mode, she works harder, even two jobs. She has no time for feelings, so she ignores what they tell her and pushes her emotions down. She leans on family and her village to care for her children; with gratitude and resilience, she pushes on!

There were days when she wanted to quit, but she couldn't because she desired a better life for her daughter, who depended on her for survival. So, with gratitude and resilience, this mother pushed on!

Through her curiosity about loss and grief, she found a more profound sense of true forgiveness: She sees her freedom in telling her stories of sadness, joy, uncharted growth, and mixed emotions. She discovers that there is only space for gratitude as the key to all past life experiences. And so, in every obstacle overcome, she builds upon the resilience to face the next challenge with strength and courage she never knew she had. With gratitude and resilience, this mother pushed on!

She's learned that avoiding the emotional pain of loss and grief is not the way, but it is within the obstacle she continues to find her way forward. And so, for this mother with forgiveness: freedom, sadness, joy, and uncharted growth, of mixed emotions with unshakable resilience and gratitude over and over, she pushes on and on!

Never give up on yourself.

Love and celebrate your uniqueness, your most authentic self, and forever Push On!

Happy Mother's Day 2024
